Aldo Quintanar is a visual artist based out of Chicago, Illinois. A graduate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Aldo's work comprises painting, drawing, and mixed media creations that synthesize the boundaries between the personal, spiritual, and psychological. His multilayered works serve as expressions of his passions, dreams, and subconscious. Additionally, Aldo accepts commissions for portraits of loved ones, renderings of landscapes and cityscapes, and other customized requests. When not working on art, Aldo spends his time working with at-risk youth, running, biking, swimming, meditating, and practicing the Dharma as best he can.
